Thermal Grizzly has introduced a new cleaning product aimed at users who work with liquid metal in PC builds. The TG Metal Polish & Restore kit combines a 30g paste, a precision applicator pen and microfiber cloths to remove gallium-based residues and restore metal surfaces on components such as CPU heat spreaders and dies. The paste contains abrasives calibrated for delicate metals including copper, brass, chrome and nickel, and includes compounds that help break down gallium deposits. Thermal Grizzly says the formulation can also reduce oxidation and temporarily slow re-oxidation on copper surfaces. The kit ships with enough paste for multiple applications, and a separate pack of 20 extra cloths will be available next week. The company notes the product is intended for routine maintenance rather than emergency repair. KitGuru reported the launch without commentary on market impact or user adoption.
