the official website for the television anime adaptation of the light novel series the world's strongest witch announced two new voice cast members on june 26. the series is produced by bridge and aisle, directed by jōji furuta, with series composition by shoji yonemura and character design by yūki morimoto, and is scheduled to premiere in october. fairouz ai will voice erimina, the master of the adventurers' guild known as the inferno witch. honoka inoue will voice eruna, an elf princess who worries about her sick mother. azusa tachibana was previously announced as voicing protagonist rona hermit. according to the official website, the story follows lorna hermit, who after being expelled from her family because of a seemingly useless ability discovers a skill that grants unlimited online information and items, allowing her to acquire rare equipment. yen press is publishing the english translation of the light novels and released the second volume on april 14. the original light novel began serialization on the shōsetsuka ni narō website in may 2022, and the first print volume was published in december 2022; the fifth volume shipped in may 2025. a manga adaptation launched on kodansha's getsu maga kichi/comic days website in may 2023, and its 12th compiled volume was published on may 8.
