Cougar announced the FRZ 412 ARGB and FRZ 412 Elite ARGB single‑tower CPU coolers, both rated at 240W TDP and compatible with Intel LGA115x, 1200, 1700, 1851 and AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. The standard FRZ 412 ARGB includes a top‑mounted dot‑pixel display for real‑time temperature readout, an RGB strip, black‑finished aluminium fins, four 6 mm Direct Touch heat pipes and a 160 mm‑tall heatsink with an offset base to clear the first RAM slot. An FDB‑bearing fan operates from 0 to 2500 rpm, delivering up to 74.5 CFM airflow and 3.66 mmH2O static pressure. The FRZ 412 Elite ARGB omits the display and front RGB lighting, uses a chrome finish, and replaces the FDB bearing with a rifle bearing while maintaining the same airflow, pressure and TDP rating. Cougar indicated the compact design, following the larger FRZ 612 ARGB series, could lower pricing.
