SpaceXAI’s AI-powered alternative to Wikipedia, Grokipedia, has rolled out a design refresh after a period of inactivity. The update, described by head of design Benji Taylor as a “newly refreshed” version, introduces a redesigned homepage and live edits interface. The previous homepage, which featured only a logo and search bar, now displays a list of featured articles, a ranking of most-read entries, and a real-time tracker of recent changes. The featured section employs a visual metaphor of digital books that can be rotated, while the most-read list uses a horizontally scrolling shelf of book spines. The live edits page has also been optimized to show a broader view of recent modifications. Article pages received minor adjustments, including improved formatting for top-of-article tables and tighter line spacing. Grokipedia first launched in late October 2025 with AI-generated content modeled on Wikipedia, followed by a second iteration a month later. A report by Lawfare in August noted that no edits had occurred for over three months, suggesting a pause in activity. The recent changes indicate renewed internal interest, though SpaceXAI has not publicly commented on the update. Followers can track related stories through the platform’s topic and author feeds.
