Anthropic announced it will pay $45 billion to rent AI cloud computing capacity from Nscale for six years. The agreement covers about 460 megawatts of power and will see Nscale install Nvidia Vera Rubin chips at its West Virginia data center campus. Anthropic, which expects to go public, projects 2028 revenue of $190 billion to $200 billion, up from a $47 billion annual run‑rate reported earlier this year. The company also has a separate arrangement with SpaceX to pay $1.25 billion per month for compute capacity through May 2029. Anthropic declined to comment on the Nscale deal. Reuters reported the details, citing a person familiar with the matter. The reporting was done by Juby Babu in Mexico City and Anzar Mehraj in Bengaluru, with editing by Sahal Muhammed.
