Apple has announced a product event scheduled for September 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The invitation includes the tagline “Surprise and Shine” and a graphic of a glowing Apple logo with a sun. The event will feature the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the first foldable iPhone, rumored to be called iPhone Ultra. Apple is not expected to release a standard iPhone model this fall; instead, the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 are slated for spring 2027. The Pro models are expected to retain similar designs and screen sizes while adding a variable‑aperture main camera, a reduced Dynamic Island, and the C2 cellular modem. Available colors may include dark cherry, black, silver, and light blue. The foldable device is rumored to use a book‑style hinge, an outer display of 5.3 to 5.5 inches and an inner display of 7.6 to 7.8 inches, a titanium frame, and a crease‑reducing screen. It may incorporate Touch ID in the power button, two front cameras, and a dual rear camera system. Pricing estimates place the starting price near $1,999, with some configurations projected above $2,500. Updated Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are also expected, with focus on new processors and health features rather than design changes. John Ternus will assume the role of Apple CEO on September 1, while Tim Cook becomes executive chairman.
