Shiwasu Hoshikawa's Bungo Stray Dogs STORM BRINGER manga will go on a long-term hiatus due to the author's health, Kadokawa's Shōnen Ace magazine reported on Wednesday.

The manga, which began serialization in January 2025, adapts the eighth light novel of the Bungō Stray Dogs series and is set after the Arahabaki Incident, one year after Chuuya Nakahara joined the Port Mafia.

The October issue of Shōnen Ace announced that the series will pause indefinitely, with a future resumption date to be revealed in a later issue. The first compiled volume was released in September 2025, and the second volume is scheduled for September 25. Yen Press publishes the English edition. Kadokawa and the creators launched the original Bungō Stray Dogs manga in Kadokawa's Young Ace in December 2012. The franchise includes several anime seasons and a film, and a spinoff manga titled Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! currently has 15 volumes.

The magazine has not indicated when the manga will resume, leaving the series' continuation uncertain.
