Dogecoin Labs emerged as an independent entity that now oversees three distinct product teams previously operating separately: MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App. The reorganization follows a partnership between the Dogecoin Foundation and House of Doge, under which the Foundation designated Labs as its official commercial partner, replacing the prior exclusive agreement held by House of Doge. The Foundation continues to manage stewardship, advocacy, community engagement and open-source development, while Labs assumes responsibility for product ownership, technology, intellectual property and development staff contributed by both the Foundation and House of Doge. House of Doge transferred selected products, engineering operations and related assets to Labs in exchange for an equity stake, a transaction detailed in a filing that lists closing conditions and asset transfers subject to risk. Tim Stebbing, who previously served on the Foundation’s board, transitioned to a director role within Labs. Jordan Jefferson, founder of MyDoge and DogeOS, was named chief executive of Labs. DogeOS maintains its public testnet environment for developers, offering an Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible platform that currently supports applications such as Barkswap’s liquidity engine, Superposition Finance’s lending protocol and the Derps perpetual exchange. The testnet also incorporates planned integrations like Split Markets for options trading, USDoge as a collateralized stablecoin and Snag for prediction-market aggregation. Developers can access familiar tools while the roadmap anticipates additional resources and interoperability features, including native zero-knowledge proof verification through the proposed OP_CHECKZKP upgrade. Mainnet deployment timelines have not been specified, with development milestones expected to inform future scheduling. MyDoge reports a user base exceeding 500,000 and recently released a V3 wallet update that links its consumer application to services built on DogeOS. Such App provides merchant-facing tools, including invoicing and in-person QR payment capabilities, and plans to introduce a “Hustles” feature that enables independent sellers to list services and accept DOGE directly. Earlier funding for DogeOS included a $6.9 million investment led by Polychain Capital in May 2025, allocated toward platform development, developer tools and partnerships across gaming, artificial intelligence and decentralized finance. House of Doge indicated that the equity stake in Labs will support alternative investment products and sports-related initiatives, with CEO Marco Margiotta stating that shareholders stand to benefit from the commercial output of Labs. The organization also noted ongoing collaboration with 21Shares on Nasdaq-listed Dogecoin exchange-traded products, including the TDOG and TXXD ETFs, which trade on the SIX exchange in Switzerland. No public valuation for Labs or precise ownership percentage disclosed by House of Doge has been released.
