Lego announced on Wednesday that it will release the 6,130‑piece Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer set on October 1. The company described the model as the longest Lego Star Wars brick-built model to date. The new set joins three other large Star Wars models released in recent years: the 9,023‑piece Death Star, the 7,541‑piece Millennium Falcon, and the 6,785‑piece AT-AT. The Executor measures 136 cm in length, 20 cm in height, 50 cm in width and weighs over 5 kg. Lego says the design uses a core with Technic outriggers to support the exterior panels without adding bulk. The set includes a smaller Star Destroyer and a miniature Millennium Falcon attached to its rear. Seven minifigures are included: Darth Vader and the bounty hunters Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM and Zuckuss. The set also comes with a Darth Vader Lightsaber collectible (product 40897) available with purchase from October 1 to October 7 while supplies last. The set is priced at $799.99 (€749.99, £649.99) and is recommended for ages 18 and older. It will be sold through Lego stores and the Lego.com/Star‑Wars website beginning October 1.
