MemeToro has outlined an AI-powered memecoin launchpad on the BNB Chain that incorporates fixed-price funding and escrow contracts, aiming to alter the typical launch process. Bitquery data indicates that 79% of nearly nine million tokens created on Pump.fun were traded only on their first day. The project describes a system in which an AI agent would analyze news, social media and online communities to identify potential memecoin concepts, then publish a reason for each token before accepting contributions. Funding terms, including total supply, price and wallet limits, would be made public prior to the opening of contributions. The proposed escrow mechanism would allow contributors to withdraw funds before finalization and would return money if conditions were not met. Draft rules specify that contributed funds would have two possible destinations: refund to participants or allocation to liquidity once predefined conditions are satisfied. The launchpad would exclude private allocation tiers and require equal-price contributions from all participants. According to the project's documentation, the AI would select and explain a concept while public smart contracts would enforce the agreed-upon funding rules. Fixed-price rounds would prevent token allocation to founders or team members during the funding phase. MemeToro's tokenomics assign 71% of a 1.2 billion MT token supply to public sale and 2% to the team, with the remainder intended for platform access, rewards, staking and future trading. The project's MT token is currently in Stage 9 of its presale at $0.00649 per token, with plans to raise the price in subsequent stages. Bitquery tracked 8,984,141 Pump.fun tokens from November 1, 2025, through October 7, 2026, finding that only 1.5% showed any trading activity by the fifth week and just 0.2% recorded at least 10 trades during that period. Among other Solana-based launchpads, 51% of Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve tokens and 84% of Raydium LaunchLab tokens experienced trading only on launch day, with fifth-week trading occurring in 1.9% and 1.3% of those groups respectively. The project's repository describes an early-stage pipeline that collects trend signals and converts them into draft manifests, though it notes that an autonomous hourly service and a fully operational launch process have not yet been implemented. The README file states that “the agent proposes; transparent contracts execute,” indicating a division of responsibilities between AI selection and contract enforcement. Independent auditors including Coinsult, SolidProof and BlockSAFU have reviewed the MT token contract, but the launch contracts remain unaudited and are described as draft code. The project's roadmap lists pending work including production token creation, liquidity provision and formal manifest schema development. For U.S. participants, the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance stated in February 2025 that memecoins focused on entertainment generally do not constitute securities offerings, though the statement carries no legal force and other federal laws may still apply to fraudulent conduct.
