The Meteosat Third Generation-Imager 2 (MTG-I2) satellite is scheduled for launch on 27 August 2026 at 22:10 CEST (17:10 local time) from the European Space Agency’s launch site in French Guiana aboard an Ariane 6 rocket. The mission forms part of Eumetsat’s MTG constellation, which already includes two operational satellites.
