The policy targets titles such as “Steal an Egg,” which let players increase a speed stat by running in‑game treadmills while scrolling a social‑media style feed. The feature also encouraged spending Robux, and the game attracted more than 500,000 concurrent players before it was temporarily removed and later reinstated without the feed function. Roblox said the change is part of its effort to provide age‑appropriate experiences and to align with its commitment to a safe, positive environment, noting that it works closely with creators to clarify guidelines. The company added that the update follows a U.S. Senate investigation into alleged sexual abuse and exploitation of minors on the platform, a matter that has prompted ID verification measures and other precautions.
