Shun Numa and Yushin Kuroki announced that their new manga, Ura no Report, will begin serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump on August 31. Numa previously created the one-shot Super Psychic Policeman Chojo, which serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2024 to June 2025 and concluded with its final compiled volume in September 2025. The series was simultaneously released by Viz Media and Shueisha's MANGA Plus and received an anime adaptation slated for October 6. Kuroki's earlier work Teenage Renaissance! David launched in September 2018 and ended in May 2019, with English translations provided by MANGA Plus and preview chapters offered through Viz Media's Jump Start initiative. Ura no Report is described as a youth love comedy focusing on Ura Onigashima, a character described as beautiful and a descendant of demons who is said to conceal a secret. Numa provides the story while Kuroki handles the artwork. The new series is scheduled to appear in the magazine's August 31 issue, the 40th installment of Weekly Shonen Jump, and no additional release information has been announced.
