Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 will launch on October 14 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version to follow. The game lets players choose Ultramarine Malum Caedo or Battle Sister Nyra Veyrath and pits them against the daemonic demigod Vashtorr and numerous other enemies. Composer Mick Gordon, known for his work on the Doom and Wolfenstein series, contributed a cameo musical piece that will play during the final boss fight. The first Boltgun, released in 2022, was noted for its fast-paced boomer-shooter action and high difficulty, and the sequel is expected to maintain that challenge. The announcement was made by the developer, and a Switch 2 release is slated for shortly after the initial launch.
